Facebook Groups are so 2011.

Wait a minute, uh, its still 2011… but I digress, when making the decision to axe a Facebook group, there is simply no easy link or button for removing that group quickly and easily. The process is manual, and depending on the number of group members in your Facebook group, you might want to grab a cup of coffee before reading further. Here it goes:

1. Facebook removes groups that have no members; therefore, the first step is to remove all members before removing yourself.
2. Navigate to (or search for) the group page you’d like to delete. 
3. Find and click see all to view all the members of the group.
4. VERY IMPORTANT: Delete everyone else before yourself. If not, you will lose admin control, everyone will remain, and the group lies dormant forever. (or until archived by Facebook)
5. Start clicking the ‘X’ next to each member’s name in the list.
6. Once you are the last remaining member of the group, delete yourself and follow the prompts.

Voila, your Facebook group is deleted and you can carry on your merry way.
